In July 2013, my wife and I, along with some friends and their families, decided to take a weekend break in Monterey. We stayed at a beautiful golf resort, and as I admired the scenic views of the course, I remarked how wonderful it would be if we could play golf. That evening, I mentioned the idea again, and this time, Dr. G. Narain, Dr. S. Sandhu, and A. Kooner agreed to give it a shot.
Within a month, we had all purchased golf clubs and started practicing at the local range. Over the following months, more friends joined us, and that’s how the Punjabi Golf Club was born.
